Utah Counselor

Leavitt Institute is a great option for those seeking the help of a Utah Counselor. Counselors at Leavitt Institute are trained and experienced professionals. Our Utah Counselors are primarily Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT’s) and have a minimum of a master’s level education and combined have over 25 years of clinical experience. Utah Counselors at Leavitt Institute provide a holistic approach to therapy in that they assess biological, psychological, social, relational, and spiritual dimensions of human behavior. They employ a systemic approach in which individual concerns are examined within the context of the family, and various systems from which they are apart (e.g. work, school, church; etc). Through examining systemic influences, therapists are often able to not only identify, but address the source of presenting problems. As such, we strive to help individuals, couples, and families, improve their relationships and mental health.

Services

The mission at Leavitt Institute is to make Utah Counselors a more affordable and more accessible resource within the community for individual and relational therapy. To do this, we offer affordable counseling (as low as $50 for 50 minutes) and the convenience of online therapy. Online therapy can be a valuable option for those who live in remote areas, do not wish to or are not able to travel long distances for counseling, or who simply wish to meet with a therapist online. Leavitt Institute provides individual and family counseling, couple counseling, group therapy, marriage enhancement workshops, as well as private, face-to-face online counseling—all within the context of the family.

Our Philosophy

We believe relationships are a basis of the human experience. We recognize the family as the foundation for sustaining healthy and strong societies. We believe the relationship between husband and wife is the centerpiece of the family. Committed marriages are in better position to provide the nurturance, guidance, and structure needed to raise children. Committed marriages are more likely to work through the roadblocks to intimacy and unity and create a home life where happiness is more likely to be achieved.

We invite couples to consider Leavitt Institute for help with relational concerns, and in achieving their marital goals.
